A Farewell and Thank You To One of My Amazing Co-Bloggers

The moment you receive Xiaolong’s message, you drop the book you were reading and run as fast as you can to the Pond.

When you finally reach the Pond, you see your little pond friends crowded around Stella the Dragonfly. You join in the little circle they have formed around her, glad that you made it just in time.

Because, as Xiaolong’s note said, Stella is leaving the Pond to go on another adventure.

Hello friends! Today, I have some bittersweet news to share with you all.

stella 6Stella, one of my amazing co-bloggers, is going to be leaving The Quiet Pond. I’ve had the pleasure of having Stella make The Quiet Pond her home since May earlier this year. In the five months that Stella was part of the Pond, she’s done an incredible job at running The Pond Book News and keeping you all up to date with the latest news about diverse books.

However, after some discussion, Stella and I agreed that with her off to college soon and her life outside of book blogging being extremely busy, that it would best if we parted ways. SI am extremely grateful for Stella, and the time that she has spent at The Quiet Pond and all that she has given to make The Quiet Pond a magical and warm place. I am also sad that she is leaving, but I am also hopeful and excited for her as she will begin new adventures in life.

Here’s a little message from Stella, as a farewell:

Hello, Friends!

I have loved being a part of The Quiet Pond family and I have loved writing and sharing all the book news with you! You have all been so welcoming and kind and I have loved talking to you folks in the comments. It makes me feel so sad that I can’t stay for as long as I would’ve liked to, but, sometimes things don’t work out. Thank you all for being such great friends and writing The Quiet Pond News has been such a fun chapter in my life and I hope that in the future I can make some visits to The Quiet Pond. But, for now, I hope you all have a magical time reading all the future posts from CW and Joce. You have all been the best to me and I will miss you all so much! Here’s to lots of friends, hugs and new beginnings!

❤ Stella

Lastly, please continue to support Stella! You can follow her on her blog, Booktube, Twitter, and Goodreads. Please join me in congratulating Stella on her new endeavours, wishing her well, and thanking her for what she has given to The Quiet Pond!
